Amarin Resort occupies a lushly vegetated stretch of coastline on the Monsena peninsula, just a short drive or a scenic walk/bike ride north of Rovinj. Its defining feature is the view: from most apartments, balconies look straight across Monsena Bay to the bell tower of St. Euphemia and the pastel rooftops of Rovinj's old town. The resort shares the peninsula with its sister properties Family Hotel Amarin and Camping Amarin, but operates as a distinct product aimed at self-catering families who want apartment-style accommodation with full resort facilities.

Important: Amarin Resort is undergoing a complete renovation for the 2026 season. All 271 studios and apartments are being fully refurbished with new furniture, modern amenities and a fresh Mediterranean interior scheme. Sanitary facilities 1, 5 and 11 are also being renovated for the 2026 reopening. Guests booking for 2026 should expect a transformed product compared to prior seasons; parts of the resort may have limited availability during the renovation rollout.

The resort layout includes outdoor seawater pools for adults and children, a landscaped beach area on the bay, multiple restaurants and bars, a games room, sports and entertainment programmes, and kids' activities. The Monsena peninsula itself is criss-crossed with forested walking and cycling paths leading down to hidden coves, making it a favourite for families who want a quieter base than central Rovinj while still being just minutes from the action.
