Konoba Veli Jože occupies a vaulted stone cellar in the heart of Rovinj's old town, named after a legendary Istrian giant. The decor is authentically rustic — exposed stone, wooden beams, farm tools on the walls — and the food matches: generous portions of traditional Istrian cooking prepared without shortcuts.
