The Musica Sacra International Choir Festival arrives in Rovinj from October 15–18, 2026, transforming the historic Church of St. Euphemia into a stage for some of Europe's finest choral ensembles. Founded over twenty years ago by conductor Manfred Linsbauer, the festival was born from a simple vision: bringing people from different countries together through the universal language of sacred music.

After editions in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, and Slovenia, Croatia first hosted Musica Sacra in 2015, and Rovinj has since become a traditional home for the event. The four-day programme features sacred music concerts, a friendship concert celebrating International Choir Singing Day, vocal workshops led by experienced conductors, and roundtable discussions where choir representatives share insights on choral traditions from their home countries.

The festival is organised by Ars Cultura — the Association for Promoting Culture and Performing Arts — in partnership with the mixed choir "Roženice" from Pazin, with support from the Rovinj and Vrsar tourism boards.
