Plaža Borik, also known as Val de Lesso, is Rovinj's most family-oriented beach. Located north of the Old Town near the Amarin resort area, it has been specifically designed with families, elderly visitors, and people with disabilities in mind.
A 170-metre asphalt walkway with seven access ramps leads to two large sunbathing platforms and a pebble shoreline with gentle water entry. There's a children's playground, ample parking, and full facilities including showers, toilets, lounger and parasol rental, a restaurant, and a beach bar.
The shallow, sheltered water and smooth entry make it one of the safest swimming spots for young children. Water sports equipment is available for hire, and there's a sports area for more active visitors. It's a proper full-day beach with everything a family needs.
