Rovinj has accommodation for every style — from boutique hotels in the old town to family-friendly resorts and campsites surrounded by pine forests. Most properties are within walking distance of the center or right on the coast.
Most visitors stay either in the old town — where you're steps from the harbor, restaurants, and churches — or along the coast south of the center, closer to Zlatni rt forest park and the best beaches. Both areas are walkable, and nothing in Rovinj is more than 20 minutes on foot.
Rovinj has over 15 hotels ranging from boutique 3-star properties to luxury 5-star resorts like Monte Mulini and Hotel Lone. For families or groups, private apartments and holiday villas with pools are widely available — from simple studios to spacious houses with gardens and outdoor kitchens.
The camping scene is strong too. There are 12 campsites in the area, from intimate spots to large resorts like Polari and Veštar with thousands of pitches. Many offer mobile homes and glamping for those who want the outdoors without the tent. Valalta is one of Europe's most well-known naturist camps.
If you're coming in July or August, book early. Rovinj is one of the most popular destinations in Croatia and the best properties fill up months in advance. Shoulder season (May–June, September–October) offers lower prices, fewer crowds, and the same warm sea.
