Description
Škaraba
Flat rock platforms and hidden pebble coves south of Golden Cape — a favourite among locals seeking peace and quiet.
Škaraba is where the locals go when they want to escape the summer crowds. Located just south of the Golden Cape forest park, about 3 km from the town centre, this stretch of coastline offers flat rock platforms perfect for sunbathing and several small pebble bays tucked between the rocks.
There are no loungers or parasols here — just natural rock, pine-scented air, and exceptionally clear water. A beach bar nearby provides refreshments, but the appeal is the unspoiled, natural character. Bring your own towel and a good book.
The western section is the most popular, catching the afternoon sun until it dips below the horizon. It's a favourite with younger crowds, couples, and anyone who prefers a more adventurous, back-to-nature beach experience.
