GiGi is a local taxi driver in Rovinj with years in hospitality behind him, and it shows. He knows the town: the shortcuts, the one-way streets, how long the run to the airport really takes in August. He also knows what visitors actually need before they think to ask. He speaks Croatian, English, Italian and German, he turns up when he says he will, and he is easy company for the length of the drive. Call ahead or send a message and he will sort out the pick-up.

Pricing

No fixed tariff: agree the price when you call. For a run to the airport or a day around Istria, ask for a flat fare for the trip rather than going on the meter.
