Camping Veštar is the highest-rated of Maistra's Rovinj camps and arguably the most polished, set in its own quiet bay about 5 km south of town. The pitches are unusually generous (up to 140 m²) with full electricity, water and drainage hook-ups, and the mobile-home areas are organised into themed mini-villages — fishing village, water oasis and Mediterranean forest — each with private terraces.
The bay has both pebbled and sandy stretches, three outdoor seafront pools, an aqua park and spray park, a diving centre, a boat ramp, and a marina with a taxi boat into Rovinj. There is a strong food and drink line-up, a supermarket, bakery, fresh produce stand, and animation programmes for kids. Veštar is the right pick for couples and families who want a quieter, more upscale camping holiday with a real small-resort feel.
