Naturafest is a festival built around nature, ecology and a more sustainable way of living. Expect local and organic producers, hands-on eco workshops, and a programme that leans outdoors and green rather than loud and commercial. It's the kind of thing that makes sense here, where Istria's coast and countryside are half the reason people come.

Rather than one packed day, the festival runs across several summer weekends in 2026: 23–24 July, 30–31 July, 5–6 August, and 15 August. That spread makes it easy to fit a visit around beach days and dinners without rearranging your trip.

Bring the kids. A good part of the programme is aimed at families and children, and it pairs well with a day of tasting local food and learning where it actually comes from. If you care about the natural, low-key side of Istria, this is worth an afternoon.
